Cryptocurrency and its Continued Revolution in Africa.

The first time I heard about Cryptocurrency was in 2017. I was tasked with writing on the topic “Cryptocurrency and its effects on small business” by my university newspaper. I surfed the internet…

Staying Sane

It turns out I am not doing much traveling these days. All the plans I had or plans to make plans have been canceled due to the pandemic. As someone who loves to keep busy and do lots of different things, being in a mandated stay at home order has not been easy.

Some days I go so stir crazy — I feel like I am losing my mind.

But then I remind myself how lucky I am to be safe, healthy, and work for a good company. Still… I need to stay sane somehow.

I started making my own wreaths when I got my own apartment and saw how expensive seasonal wreaths are. I go to the dollar store and buy fake flowers, craft wire, and a wreath base — It costs at most $8 which is way better than $60. Also, the dollar store is still open!

2. Knit a Loved One a Scarf

This is a great way to keep yourself busy and calm your nerves. Knitting has been a great way for me to de-stress in college and now it is a great way to keep me from checking COVID-19 alerts. I suggest knitting with a nice glass of dry red wine.

3. Turn Your Home Into a Staycation

4. Mario Party

I am by no means a gamer and pretty much horrible at all video games but desperate times call for desperate measures. It’s kind of like a virtual board game and if you are competitive like me you can really get behind it. It was also just a nice to do something together besides just watching a movie or The Office.

5. Take Surveys Online to Earn Gift Cards

I admit I was very skeptical about this but I was so bored one day and wanted to try it out. I ended up earning a $5 amazon gift card after a few hours of taking surveys so I felt less guilty about buying my fancy hair products. You won’t qualify for every survey and it can be tedious but I was really bored and wanted to do something productive. Survey Junkie is the best one, I tried Dabble and InBox and it took me multiple days to win a $5 gift card so after that I just use Survey Junkie. I am making like a dollar an hour, but it makes me feel less guilty about online shopping.

That’s All for Today

So that is what I have been up to. I am very open to new suggestions because I can’t leave my house unless I am buying groceries. (my schedule is roughly free between the hours of 8am to 10pm Sun-Sat) If anyone has anything keeping them sane please send suggestions my way.
